BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- Fabrizio Sartori scored two late goals as Independiente Rivadavia recovered from a goal down to secure a 3-2 home victory over Independiente in Argentina's Apertura tournament on Saturday.
Alejo Osella opened the scoring for the hosts with a close-range header after Sebastian Villa's assist.
Gabriel Avalos equalized just after halftime by latching onto Santiago Arias' cross from the right wing with a spectacular overhead kick.
The visitors extended their lead through Matias Abaldo, who finished clinically into the far corner after combining with Facundo Zabala.
Despite struggling to maintain possession, Rivadavia threatened on the counterattack and Sartori equalized in the 74th minute as he ran onto Rodrigo Atencio's lofted pass before drilling a low shot past goalkeeper Rodrigo Rey.
Atencio was again the provider 11 minutes later, delivering a cross from the right flank that was headed into the far corner by Sartori.
The result lifted Rivadavia two points clear at the top of Group B with 15 points from six games. Independiente is sixth in Group A with nine points.
Elsewhere in Argentina's top flight on Saturday, Augusto Lotti scored in the 86th minute as Platense edged to a 1-0 home win over Barracas Central. ■
